Dear Friends,
Now that I've cleared up some very minor computer glitches, allow me to present the second part of the four-part index of columns, giving anyone a better chance of finding a topic that interests them. My favorites in this bunch include the July 17, 2001 riff on reality shows, as well as the August 7, 2001 pitch meeting tips, and of course, the classic Hollywood story told in the column of Tuesday, August 21, 2001. Finally, the September 11th column, which I wrote that day, is here. You'll see that I was trying to remain circumspect, but I did manage a few words on the deeper value of writing in the world as I saw it that day. Not very moving or evocative, to tell the truth, but I figure that I can blame that on being in shock. I probably would have done better that day had I communicated with profanity and punches to the wall.
