Well, I did what (probably) over fifty percent of all the readers of yesterday's column did. I procrastinated. I had all these plans swimming around in my head about my future as a big, Hollywood screenwriter. I was going to send out a query letter to ten of the best agents around. Then I figured I could do better. I started to look up producers on the internet. Not just at random, but specific targets: Producers of movies that are similar to the spec I was marketing. One thing led to another, and somehow I got sidetracked into researching movies that are about dolphins! Who knows where that came from?! But before I knew it, I was writing a synopsis about a dolphin who could communicate with a little boy, and ends up stopping a nuclear war from destroying the world!
Then it got late and I had to go to bed. The bottom line is that I did absolutely nothing to market my script. But today is another day...
Until then...
