Everybody wants to know how to get an agent. Someone who will represent their work, and make a million dollars on that hot spec sitting on their desk. I have some good news. It's real easy.
1. Write a good script.
2. Get feedback from people who know good screenplays.
3. Rewrite that good script into a great script.
4. Get feedback again from people who know GREAT screenplays.
5. Polish that great script into a fantastic script.
6. Enter screenwriting competitions until you win one, then send out query letters to the small agents on WGA's list. In the event you don't win a contest, go back to step one and start over.
