ASK A HOLLYWOOD PRO FORUM - RULES OF USE
*You must read and agree with our general site disclaimer as well as this
additional disclaimer, rules and regulations before posting or reading posts at the "Ask A Hollywood
Pro" forum. In order for this Q&A board to work and for it to be fair to all, you must abide by these
rules.
*By your use of the service, you agree to the following: To indemnify and
hold harmless writersupercenter.com, Inc. its owners and its volunteer "experts" or "pros" for any
liability arising from any death, injury, or decapitation, dismemberment or defenistration to you and to
third parties resulting from the use of this service, as well as for any loss or damage to property to
you or to third parties resulting from the use of this service. Such indemnity and hold harmless
agreement is in addition to any other indemnity and hold harmless agreement you may agree to when using
specific sections of our site. You also acknowledge by using this service that you understand that our
volunteers have varying levels of expertise and haven't been certified as "experts" (or anything else)
by us in any professional way. Many of them are professionals in their own right, but
writersupercenter.com has not undertaken to verify the credentials or abilities of any of our
volunteers.
*One question per day per expert. Please ask no more than one expert per
day a question. This will change in the future as we add more experts.
*Questions will be posted online ONLY AFTER THE EXPERT ANSWERS
THEM. DO NOT RE-POST if you don't see your question. If you do, it will not be answered. Your
question and answer could appear in ten minutes, a few days or perhaps not at all. Our experts are
working professionals with busy schedules. They will answer questions when THEIR time permits, not
necessarily when you want them to. They also reserve the right not to answer questions that have been
previously asked by you or others or questions they deem inappropriate to this forum.
*Because of legal reasons, DO NOT TRY AND SELL YOUR STORY OR GIVE
SPECIFICS ABOUT IT. If you do, your question will NOT be answered.
*You will only ask questions to the Hollywod Pros about writing and
selling material to Hollywood. The more general the question, the better chance it has of being
answered. Regarding our experts who will help you to research your stories, you will not ask them
questions to help you with your life or personal well being. They are not here to give you advice. Tips
on asking medical questions: our volunteers can answer general questions about procedures or illnesses,
but they cannot tell you if you have a certain illness or what procedure is required. So a question we
could answer would be "My character may have disease x. What is x?" while a question we couldn`t answer
would be "I have such and such symptoms. Do I have x"? In other words, be careful how you word the
research question.
*You will not e-mail the webmaster asking why your question doesn't appear
or why it's not being answered. We have NO control over that. It all depends on your question, how many
questions are being asked and the schedule of the industry pros who have been so kind to lend their time
to this forum. Be patient. We'll be able to handle more questions in the near future when we add more
industry professionals.
*The opinions expressed by our experts do not necessarily reflect the
opinions of the webmaster, Howard Meibach or writersupercenter.com.
