If you think of yourself as a serious writer (and by that I mean that the stuff you write is about something or has something to say or maybe deals with life issues) it doesn't mean that you should turn up your nose to that idea that pops in your head that's goofy, silly and almost crap.
Somebody has to write the dumb, but fun teen sex comedy. Or the idiotic, but laugh-filled romp aimed at college students. Or the sex-filled romantic comedy for 20-somethings.
Why not you?
Nothing's easy to sell, but a commercial comedy aimed at a young audience might have an edge over that idea you have about the life of Ernest Borgnine. |
