Neatness counts. If you're a lousy typist and a horrible speller and if you have no concept of where to put a comma and what run-on sentences are and, well, if all the important grammar lessons slipped by you when you were in high school (or grade school), please pay somebody to proofread your script before sending it out.
Same with format. Make sure your screenplay LOOKS like a screenplay and not something that a tenth-grader in her third week of typing class has churned out.
A grammatically incorrect, improperly formatted script won't be read. Be professional and businesslike. |
