In life, we all need help from someone, especially when we're starting out...even moreso when we're starting out to break into the world of Hollywood.
If we don't have any connections from family or college, we have to rely on ourselves to make our own contacts. This isn't easy, but most of the people who break into the movie business have to rely on their own efforts to get into the business.
How well we do this depends largely on how aggressive and fearless we are. Being assertive isn't easy. It doesn't come naturaly to most of us. If you're resilient and rejection bounces off you, you'll be fine. But if you're reticent and a little too sensitive, you have a problem.
You've got to learn how to make phone calls, write letters, send e-mails and schmooze people into getting them to read your screenplay. Whether they like it or not is out of your hands. But what you can control is how hard you work at finding ways to get somebody who can help you to read your script.
Am I going to offer you suggestions or shortcuts? No. There aren't any. There's just one thing I will recommend.
Put your ego side and shamelessly ask anyone you meet who is remotely connected to the film business for help. Most will either say no or that they don't have access to anyone important, but with a little luck you'll find someone who'll say yes. And with more luck and networking on your part, you'll find someone else who'll help you, then some one else.
It's the only thing you can do until you get that agent, manager or producer who finally says yes.
